Monday 15 March: International Day of Action Against Seal Hunting
Day of protest actions against the annual Canadian seal hunt. Rally in Trafalgar Square, meet at 12 noon close to Canada House.
Thursday 18 March: Animal Aid's Memorial Ceremony at Cheltenham Racecourse
Animal Aid will stage a memorial ceremony at Cheltenham Racecourse to commemorate the 30 horses who have died at the course since 1999. We ask protesters to wear funereal clothing. Animal Aid's Horse Racing Consultant, Dene Stansall, will read out a short eulogy for each of the dead horses. We will be positioned opposite the main entrance to Cheltenham Racecourse, near the roundabout, from 11am until the start of the day's racing at 1.30 pm. A perfect introduction into a veggie, eco-friendly way of life, with stalls, cooking classes, talks and films, as well as children’s activities. There is a protest being held in Carmarthen on the 1st April at 12pm. It will be at the council offices, 3 Spillman Street, Carmarthen. As Carmarthen is the puppy farming capital of the UK, this is where we have to put the pressure on. Organised by http://www.dogs-r-us.org/.

Saturday 24 April: World Day for Animals in Laboratories
To mark World Day for Animals in Laboratories, there will be an anti-vivisection rally in Cavendish Square followed by a march through the centre of London. Saturday 5 June: Animal Aid's Annual Sponsored Walk
Animal Aid's 7th annual sponsored walk in Hampstead Heath. Each lap is 2.5 km long and takes you past a chain of 300-year-old ponds, across the Heath, through the woodland and up on to Parliament Hill. The view from the top is spectacular. More details to follow.

Sunday 13 June: Animal Blessing Service
An animal blessing service will be held at Craigiebuckler Church Hall on Springfield Road in Aberdeen. It starts at 3pm. All animals with their human companions welcome.
