Dear Letters Editor

With supermarkets and high street shops now stocking a wide range of meat-free foods, and with a wealth of delicious recipes available, it couldn’t be easier to go veggie. The vegetarian diet is so full of positive benefits that you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner. Going veggie is essential if you genuinely care about animals, as all animal farming, whatever the regime, involves animals suffering. And all die an early, terrifying death in slaughterhouses. It’s also the healthy choice. A well-balanced meat-free diet is low in saturated fat and cholesterol and reduces the risk of suffering from diet-related illnesses including obesity, heart disease, diabetes and some cancers. Switching to a veggie diet will also significantly reduce your ecological footprint, because plant-based agriculture uses less water and land and generates less climate-changing gases. So if you love animals, care for the planet, want to improve your own health or just fancy trying new flavours, why not give it a go? To order your FREE Go Veggie pack, contact Animal Aid on Tel: 01732 364546 or visit www.animalaid.org.uk.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS IN FULL, ALONG WITH A CONTACT PHONE NUMBER AT THE END OF YOUR LETTER OR IT MAY NOT GET PRINTED.
