New DVD! From Farm to Fork – an investigation into factory farming

This thought provoking film is ideal for stimulating discussion and debate about the way we rear animals for food in Britain today.

The 16-minute film is suitable for KS3 students and is ideal for covering aspects of the curriculum in English, citizenship, PSHE, RE and science.

The movie looks at:

  • the origins of factory farming
  • selective breeding of farmed animals
  • animal welfare impacts of intensive farming
  • personal action and food choices

“The combination of humour and seriousness in this film is perfect for pitching a sensitive subject like this to young people - it’s an excellent resource for KS3" – Assistant Head and English teacher from Bedfordshire.
